My handcrafted Executive twist pen in fine piece of Spalted Sweet Gum wood is trimmed in a complimenting premium and bright Two Tone Copper finish. The pen is part of my Elegant Executive line of fine writing instruments.
This elegant executive pen shows off a great piece of recycled Kana from Japan that highlights the classic grain variations as well as the shaded colors from a light brown coloration. I turned it a little large for those that like big pens.
This ball point writes extremely smooth, has an effortless twist mechanism and the pen is a pleasure to write with. This pen has great hand feel and balance designed into it.
I was able to find a small piece of this beautiful spalted wood and made this into a beautiful pen in the premium two tone copper finish which highlights the brownish orange spalt lines. The orange-brown spalt lines are unique in Sweet Gum, as with most other wood the spalt lines are generally black. The colorful spalting lines make this pen stand out and make this a unique piece to own. The Sweet Gum is a large tree, growing up to 100 feet tall. It has a straight trunk, up to three feet wide. Sweet Gums grow in North American woods and along stream banks and lakes.
My pens are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, birthday, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, holiday, etc.
These are one of a kind pens made from spalted wood I personally select.
All my pens are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic colors embedded in the hardwoods. Included is a presentation box.

This pen is handcrafted as a ball point trimmed in a premium and bright two tone Copper finish and uses a Parker style of refill. Refills are readily available at stationery stores everywhere. This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its high gloss.
