My handcrafted Cambridge Hybrid fountain pen in a beautiful piece of Mesquite Burl hardwood is trimmed in an exquisite Titanium Gold with Sterling Silver accents finish. The fountain pen is part of my Cambridge premium line of fine writing instruments. This fountain pen has a great balance and hand feel designed into it and is a pleasure to write with. This pen writes extremely well with the German gold/iridium nib.
My pens are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, birthday, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, etc. These are one of a kind pens made from premium acrylic formulations that I select.
If you’ve never had a pen made from a piece of burl, you don’t know what you have missed with the swirls, colors and eyes throughout the wood!
Mesquite is native to Texas, the Southwest US and northern Mexico. This piece of Mesquite Burl has a very beautiful reddish brown coloration and is figured very nicely. The reddish brown coloration, eyes, voids and swirling are distinctive and provides a traditional look and feel to the pen. This particular pen has ideal swirls, mini voids and eyes visible at the surface which make this a one-of-a-kind beautiful pen. This would be a prized addition to anyone's collection.
All my pens are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 8 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic colors embedded throughout this hard to obtain burl.

I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or pen mechanisms in any of my pens or pencils or other turnings!
This premium handcrafted pen is turned as a Fountain Pen finished in bright Titanium Gold and Sterling Silver accents and uses an ink converter (pump) or can use a standard cartridge refill (all included). Refills and ink bottles are readily available at stationery stores everywhere. This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its luster.
Included with this pen is a fine velvet pen sleeve and a triangular pen box for my large pens.
