My handcrafted click wooden Gel Writer Pro pen in a beautiful and exquisite piece of exotic Hawaiian Monkey Pod is trimmed in a complementing bright Gold finish. The gel pen is part of my slim line of fine writing instruments. This pen is has an excellent click mechanism with a fine writing point. This Gel Writer pen writes extremely well having great balance and hand feel designed into it, and is a pleasure to write with.

Monkey Pod named for the spiral-shaped fruit pods which the tree bears. Outside of Hawaii, one of the most common names for the species is Raintree, which is due to the leaves’ tendency to fold up at night or during periods of rainfall, allowing rain to pass through its broad canopy to the vegetation below. Trees are commonly planted in tropical regions as an ornamental shrub or shade tree. The wood is mid to dark brown with beautiful grain. This durable wood makes a great looking pen!
All my pens are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 8 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic colors embedded within in the hardwood.

This wooden pen is handmade as a gel writer trimmed in a bright Gold finish and uses a Parker style of gel writer refill. Refills are readily available at stationery stores everywhere. This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its high gloss and beauty.
