Handcrafted Wooden Pen - Gadsden Flag Executive Twist Inlay Pen Finished in Bright Copper

My handcrafted Executive twist wooden inlay pen in n Gadsden Flag inlay composed of Yellow dyed Basswood background with Green dyed Basswood as the grass.  The snake and scroll is laser etched and is trimmed in a premium bright Copper finish.  The pen is part of my Executive line of fine writing instruments and has an excellent twist mechanism which operates quite smoothly.  This ball point writes extremely well with great balance and hand feel designed into it, and is a pleasure to write with.  

My pens are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, birthday, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, etc. These are one of a kind wooden pens made from hardwoods I select. 

The Gadsden flag is a historical American flag with a yellow field depicting a rattlesnake coiled and ready to strike. Positioned below the rattlesnake are the words "DON'T TREAD ON ME." The flag is named after American general and politician Christopher Gadsden, who designed it in 1775 during the American Revolution. It was used by the Continental Marines as an early motto flag.  A presentation box is included.

I have the clip positioned above the snake, which is a normal clip placement (to the right of the design).  If you would like it placed under the motto, please let me know in the notes section of the order.

All my pens are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic colors embedded within in the hardwood.

I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or pen mechanisms in any of my pens or pencils or other turnings!

This wooden pen is handmade as a ball point trimmed in a bright Copper finish and uses a Parker style of ballpoint refill.  Refills are readily available at stationery stores everywhere.  This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its high gloss and beauty.
