My handcrafted Knight's Armor twist wooden pen in a beautiful and fine piece of Tulipwood hardwood is trimmed in a complementing Antique Brass finish. This attractive, high end twist pen features a medieval theme complete with a Knight's Helmet Cap, Sword clip and Breast Plate nib. This handcrafted higher end ball point pen is from my Knight's Armor line of fine writing instruments. The pen has an excellent twist mechanism and a unique, fine styling. This ball point writes extremely well having great balance and hand feel designed into it, and is a pleasure to write with.
My pens are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, birthday, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, etc. These are one of a kind wooden pens made from hardwoods I select. A presentation box is included.
Tulipwood is a stunningly beautiful hardwood which is in short supply. The tree itself is only found in a narrow geographical area, and it’s small enough to be considered a shrub: typically yielding very small and narrow boards. Because of these limitations, Tulipwood is generally reserved for very small specialty wood items and accent pieces, such as pens. The grain exhibited in this pen is typical of Tulipwood, with the reddish grain and the lighter reddish-tan color of the pen body. This pen has that distinguished beautiful reddish brick color grain and has a brilliant shine when polished.
All my pens are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic color embedded within in the hardwood.

I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or pen mechanisms in any of my pens or pencils or other turnings!
This wooden pen is handmade as a ball point trimmed in an Antique Brass finish and uses a Parker style of ballpoint refill. Refills are readily available at stationery stores everywhere. This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its high gloss and beauty.
