My handcrafted Cigar styled Letter Opener uses a beautiful piece of stabilized and tan dyed Corn Cob as the handle. This cob handled letter opener is trimmed in a bright Gold finish. The letter opener is part of my cigar line of desk and writing accessories. This letter opener has a 4 ½ inch gold plated blade and has a nice balance and feel to it. The letter opener complements my matching pen lines, and goes great together with a matching pen.
The overall size is 6 3/4" in length x 1/2" in width and comes with a nice gift box.
The corn cob for this letter opener comes from the prairies. It is stabilized for turning and also dyed a light tan to add some depth to the corn cob. The corn kernel sockets are clearly shown in the handle. This is a traditional styled letter opener that I wanted to try something different with for the handle. It looks and feels great in the hand.
My letter openers are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, holiday, etc.
These are one of a kind desk accessories made from specialty items I personally select. Matching pens, pencils and magnifying glasses are also available. Please send a message with your request. The Letter Opener can also be ordered with any other matching desk accessory or item I turn.
All my handcrafted items are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic colors embedded throughout the cob.
I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or pen mechanisms in any of my accessories, pens or pencils!
