My handcrafted Cigar styled Letter Opener uses a beautiful piece of Silver Maple hardwood as the handle. This wood handled letter opener is trimmed in a bright 24ct Gold finish. The letter opener is part of my cigar line of desk and writing accessories. This letter opener has a 4 ½ inch gold plated blade and has a nice balance and feel to it. The letter opener complements my matching pen lines, and goes great together with a matching pen.
The overall size is 6 3/4" in length x 1/2" in width and comes with a nice gift box.
This piece of Silver Maple contains heartwood showing the beautiful and warm brown color of the hardwood. Silver Maple is found in the Northeastern United States. - you can't go wrong with this fine letter opener. This letter opener will darken with age with a slight deeper color tones and take on that old, traditional style.
The handle has been finished for a nice hand grip and feel on the handle and to capture some of the features and grain in the hardwood.
My accessories are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, holiday,etc.
These are one of a kind desk accessories made from hardwoods I personally select.
All my handcrafted items are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic color embedded throughout the hardwood.
I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or pen mechanisms in any of my accessories, pens or pencils!
