My handcrafted Slim style Petite Letter Opener uses a beautiful piece of Whitetail Deer Antler as the handle. The Letter Opener is trimmed in a fine, bright 24ct Gold finish. This desk (or household) accessory is part of my slim line of accessories. The Petite Letter Opener complements my matching pen and accessory line. You can custom order a matching pen & pencil set as well in the same finish. Just send initiate a conversation for pricing and quotes.
The letter opener blade is approximately 3 1/2 inches long with an overall length of approximately 6 1/4 inches.
This letter opener features a nice piece of well marked antler as the handle. The antler is hand sanded to show as much of the beauty of the antler as possible, as this is a curved piece of antler. This piece has a curved area that feel that I fitted the blade and end piece to. This letter opener has a nice hand feel to the letter opener. It gives it a different look, but looks great. The white coloration and darker areas of brownish gray in color from the exterior of the antler are seen around the letter opener. This antler as been hand sanded around the blade and cap. Additionally, the characteristics shown on this handle adds that traditional touch; quite an overall effect to this letter opener. I didn't put a finish and left this natural. You can add a little furniture polish if you'd like, but this doesn't need a finish. This letter opener is very eye appealing and quite useful.
