My handcrafted Mini Magnifying Glass Pendant uses a beautiful piece of Zebrawood hardwood that I cross cut as the handle. Beautiful fine grain is evident within this Zebrawood pendant. The Mini Magnifying Glass Pendant is finished in a bright 24K Gold trim. This pendant is part of my Slim line of accessories. The Mini Magnifying Glass complements my matching accessory line.
Zebrawood is native to central Africa (Gabon, Cameroon, and Congo). The wood is a creamy brown and features narrow streaks of dark brown to black. The name come from the way it looks, it has stripes like a zebra, hence the name Zebrawood. Zebrawood can also be a darker brown with regular or irregular marks of dark brown in varying widths. This pendant features a piece that was cut across the grain, giving the final turned pendant rings, rather than the length wise zebra stripes. I find it adds a bit of uniqueness to the pendant. The 24K gold accent trim makes this stand out nicely.
My accessories are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, birthday, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, holiday, etc. These are one of a kind personal accessories made from hardwoods I personally select. Matching pens are also available.
All my accessories are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic color in the wood.
The lens is 1 inch in diameter, the overall length of the magnifying glass is approximately 2 3/4 inches and the chain is approximately 27 inches in length.
I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or mechanisms in any of my accessories, pens or pencils!
