My handcrafted 3 compartment personal mini pill/secret box has a cap turned from fine Moroccan Thuya Burl and the exterior of the pill box or secret box is a bright Pewter plate finish.
My hand turned personal accessories are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, birthday, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, holiday, etc.
These are one of a kind items made from hardwoods that I personally select. The plastic tray on my newer boxes is not removable for much improved performance.
Thuya Burl exhibits the best eyes and reddish orange creamy color of any burl I've seen - it is just spectacular! Clusters of small black dots, or "bird's eyes," often accentuate this handsome wood. Thuya Burl is becoming very scarce. The Mini Pill/Secret box is trimmed in a bright Pewter plate finish.
The mini pill boxes are 2 inches in diameter and approximately 1 inch in height.

All my items are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic colors embedded within the burl. I do not use inferior woods in any of my handcrafted turnings!
