My handcrafted Pirate twist wooden pen in a piece of beautiful and well grained Jim Beam bourbon whiskey oak barrel stave is trimmed in a complementing bright Chrome finish. The pen is part of my themed line of fine writing instruments and has an excellent twist mechanism which operates quite smoothly through turning of the larger cap section. This ball point writes extremely well with great balance and hand feel, and is a pleasure to write with.

These are one of a kind pens made from reclaimed original Jim Beam Oak hardwood Bourbon Whisky Barrel Staves I own. The wood exhibits that sweet bourbon aroma and the pen is finished only in a fine polish and wax. As the finish starts to wear off, it allows that sweet aroma to dissipate for the user. The edges of the barrel are not sealed, so you should be able to smell a slight odor. This is a fine pen for the sailor that you know, or in the family. A certificate of authenticity is provided as well as a nice presentation box.
Included with the pen is a Certificate of Authenticity. This is quite an exceptional pen!
All my pens are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic colors embedded within in the hardwood.

I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or pen mechanisms in any of my pens or pencils or other turnings!
This wooden pen is handmade as a ball point trimmed in a bright Chrome finish and uses a Parker style of ballpoint refill. Refills are readily available at stationery stores everywhere, or through my website. This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its high gloss and beauty.
