My handcrafted Pirate twist wooden pen in a piece of beautiful and well marked Redwood Lace Burl is trimmed in a complementing Antique Pewter finish. The pen is part of my themed line of fine writing instruments and has an excellent twist mechanism which operates quite smoothly through turning of the larger cap section. This ball point writes extremely well with great balance and hand feel, and is a pleasure to write with.

This pen is crafted from a fine piece of Redwood Lace Burl, which has a beauty that is rarely seen. This pen has the distinctive deep brownish red color seen in Redwood as well as striking gray and greenish hues. This pen has beautiful color, voids, eyes and swirls that have similar structure throughout the burl. This pen highlights the distinct coloration of redwood as great darker shades and a few voids are present throughout the barrels.

Refills are readily available at stationery stores everywhere, or through my website. This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its high gloss and beauty.
