My handcrafted Knight's Armor twist wooden pen in a beautiful, premium piece of Purple dyed Spalted Sugar Maple hardwood is trimmed in a complementing Antique Pewter finish. This attractive, high end twist pen features a medieval theme complete with a Knight's Helmet Cap, Sword Clip and Breast Plate nib. This handcrafted premium ball point pen is from my Knight's Armor line of fine writing instruments. The pen has an excellent twist mechanism and a unique, fine styling. This ball point writes extremely well having great balance and hand feel designed into it, and is a pleasure to write with.
My pens are great for personal use or as an exquisite gift for that special someone, birthday, wedding, anniversary, client, guest, holiday, etc. These are one of a kind wooden pens made from hardwoods I select. A presentation box is included.
This pen features an exquisite piece of Spalted Sugar Maple that I had stabilized and dyed in a fine purple color. The color has been pressurized into the wood, and color will not wear off. Several spalting lines run the length of this lovely pen. There is a beautiful section at the nib end where the dye didn't penetrate the wood and the lighter purple/brown area adds distinction to this pen. Sugar Maple is a hard wood and the exquisite patterns seen with the spalting and with the dye, is beautifully set off with the fine finish. Truly a great pen to keep or give at as a great gift.
All my pens are hand turned by me on my lathe and undergo a minimum 18 step finishing and polishing process to bring out the fantastic color embedded throughout the hardwood.

I do not use inferior woods, acrylic formulations or pen mechanisms in any of my pens or pencils or other turnings!
This wooden pen is handmade as a ball point trimmed in an Antique Pewter finish and uses a Parker style of ballpoint refill. Refills are readily available at stationery stores everywhere. This is a highly polished and exquisite pen and requires little maintenance to retain its high gloss and beauty.
